Wings in Paint Shop Pro 7

First, you must open up a picture from your PetzPix folder. I've chosen Dorra, a cream dane mix, to work with.

Click on the "Draw" tool, represented by a pencil with a squiggly line.

Make the settings on the "Tool Options" box match the ones pictured above.

Choose a gradient for your wings. Make sure the gradient is at 50% opacity. If it isn't, click the option that lets you edit the gradient and set the opacity to any number less than 100. I've chosen rainbow wings.

Now, using the "draw" tool, draw the outline of a wing for your pet. When you have an outline (as pictured above), hit "Ctrl-Q" on your keyboard to end the wing. It will look like the picture below once you have done this.

Make a second wing the same way as you made your first wing.

Now you can shade the wings and the pets. For more information on shading, go to the shading and highlighting tutorial. I also re-colored the eyelids to match the dog in this picture.

I re-colored the eyes to match the wings and added a little rainbow on the dog's hip. This is, of course, optional.

Now you can try adding stars to the pet, as shown below!

All done!
